Brad E. Kelle

Brad E. Kelle, Ph.D.

Brad E. Kelle joined the Point Loma Nazarene University faculty in 2004 and is now Professor of Old Testament and Hebrew. He holds both a Ph.D. in Old Testament and a Masters of Theological Studies from Emory University, as well as a B.A. degree in religion from Trevecca Nazarene University. He is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene.

Dr. Kelle's academic interests include the Old Testament prophetic literature, Israelite and Judean history, and warfare in the Hebrew Bible and ancient Near East. He has published widely in all three areas in the form of academic journal articles, scholarly essays, and books.
