Like to play beach doubles vollyball, boating, fishing, shooting, hunting, throwing knives, photography, making beer & wine. Was chief engineer, director of technology or director of engineering at many sensor development and manufacturing companies. Author of Linear Position Sensors, Theory & Application, POSITION SENSORS, and Understanding Position Sensors. Also have authored chapters in the following engineering reference books: Measurement, Instrumentation & Sensors Handbook, Instrument Engineers Handbook - volumes I, II, and III, Instrument and Automation Engineers Handbook volumes I, II. Illustrated, edited, and published The Purple Easter Egg.

Founded Revolution Sensor Company in 2003. Inventor on 29 US patents. Have written many technical magazine articles and papers, as well as some non-technical articles.

Like to teach local kids and kids at a children's home to build and fly model airplanes and amateur rockets, and also do the same at some local schools. Have taught trapping and other subjects to Boy Scouts.
