Paul S. MacDonald

After ten years' work as an antiquarian bookseller, from 1980-90, I returned to academia and complete my PhD (1996) at Durham University (UK) where I also met my wife. For three years I was Lecturer in Philosophy at Durham, until we moved to Perth, Australia in July 1999. There, at Murdoch University, I was Senior Lecturer in Philosophy until my (early) retirement in July 2015. My wife and I then moved to West Cork Ireland, where I continue to do research in an alternative history of philosophy, as well as explore Cork and Kerry in search of stone circles and other prehistoric monuments.
