Robert Nelson

Robert Nelson has won more than 100 state, regional and national writing awards over his 30-year career in newspapers and magazines in Florida, Texas, Nebraska, Arizona and Virginia. Nelson's first full-length book, "Old Money, New West: Fife Symington and Uniquely American Landscapes that Made Him, Broke Him, and Made Him Anew," will be published Nov. 19, 2021 by TCU Press. Former U.S. President Bill Clinton authored the book's foreword. Nelson's image-driven book, "Early Yuma," has sold more than 8,000 copies since it appeared in 2006.
