My career in respiratory therapy began in 1971. I obtained a Masters in Science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ along with my registry (RRT) credential in respiratory therapy. In 2003, I was elected as a Fellow of the American Association for Respiratory Care (FAARC). Currently, I am the respiratory clinical specialist for Home Therapy Equipment in Clifton Park, NY and am actively involved with the NY State Society for Respiratory Care (NYSSRC). Formerly, I was an associate professor of clinical sciences and the director of the respiratory care clinical education program at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of NJ, past president of the NJ Society for Respiratory Care and past House of Delegates member for the American Association for Respiratory Care.
