Sarah Brophy, now Sarah Sutton, has been a practicing museum professional since 1983. She's an independent consultant helping museums address environmental sustainability and climate change - for themselves and their communities. She helps with vision and strategy, including working with green teams, on institutional planning, and finding and grant funding.
She is a grant proposal writer for clients on operations, endowment, capital and program grants from all sources. This work includes environmental sustainability.
She speaks and consults around the country for zoos, historic sites, museums and gardens. She can crawl around an HVAC system or dumpster dive, lead a board tour of a green building and use integrated design to find great green solutions for good museum work.
Sarah is committed to greening the museum field as fast as possible and with respect for the journey.
