Reed Hearon

James Beard award winning chef, author, food tech professional ,inventor and consultant. Hearon has studied in France, Italy, Thailand, Hong Kong and Mexico, expanding not only his knowledge of how to cook, but how people define themselves through the food they eat. IHe created numerous successful Bay Area restaurants including LuLu, LuLu Bis, Café Marimba, Rose Pistola, Rose's Café and Black Cat - garnering a total of 18 stars from the SF Chronicle. He founded Hearon Designs - a boutique firm providing a unified approach to restaurant and food industry startups - merging concept creation; market identification; branding; location selection; interior design; menu development; staff training; vendor selection; media management and operations oversight into a tightly focused, product consistent with the original vision.
