Max Price was born in Oklahoma City on 1938. He finished Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Oklahoma Baptist University on 1959. He received his Master’s Degree in Theology and Guidance and Counseling on 1968 and 1972 respectively; then received his Ph.D in Counseling Psychology and his license in Clinical Psychology in 1975 and 1977 respectively.
As a clinical psychologist, he has helped many people which include children of divorce and/or stepfamilies. He worked for Oklahoma Health Care Authority, providing psychologist services for Adults with Developmental Disabilities. Most of his writings like Understanding Today’s Children (1983) and A Guide to Children Therapy (2001), were inspired from his career as a psychologist and from his upbringing as a member of a large stepfamily.
Max Price is happily living with his wife, Geri Price for more than 50 years now. Their two children are both successful and are now living with their own families.
