Karyn Wellhousen Tunks

Karyn W. Tunks is Professor of Education at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. She teaches courses in Adolescent and Children’s Literature, Elementary Language Arts, and Early Childhood Education. Dr. Tunks presents and publishes on a variety of literacy-related topics. She has written four books for teachers. JUBILEE! is her first book written for children. She shares her passion for writing and reading through her social media persona, Professor Storytime. Karyn is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
