Michael Dapper

Michael Dapper has been a professional writer and editor for nearly 40 years, with his work appearing in daily newspapers, magazines, books, and online for numerous clients. He has written extensively about motorsports, especially motorcycles, since the mid-1980s. After working in-house at Polaris, he became a freelancer in 1996. He has done contract work for numerous clients, especially Victory Motorcycles and Indian Motorcycle.

Along with his three books, Dapper’s work appears on the Fuel Blog on the Octane Press website.

He has completed 10 Iron Butt rides (so far), and lives in Minnesota with his wife, two daughters, and 3-legged handicapable cat.
