Frederik Nebeker

Born in California in 1948, Frederik Nebeker grew up in a military family living in California, Massachusetts, Japan (3 years), France (3 years), and Mississippi (4 years). He earned academic degrees at Pomona College, University of Wisconsin, and Princeton University. He worked as historian of technology in several places, mainly at Rutgers University in New Jersey (20 years). He is the author of nine books and many scholarly articles. In 2011 he retired with his wife to Denmark, where he currently lives.
