Deron Wagner

Deron Wagner, PhD (h.c.) is a professional trader, former hedge fund manager, and founder of Morpheus Trading Group. The education division, Morpheus Trading Academy, is the world's first IEAC-accredited trading education institution.

Author of five books published by Bloomberg Press, Wiley, and McGraw-Hill, including the Gold Medal-winning "Trading ETFs: Gaining an Edge with Technical Analysis" (Axiom Business Book Awards, 2009).

Wagner began his career as a proprietary trader at major U.S. trading firms in the '90s before launching Morpheus Trading Group in 2002.

He has appeared on CNBC, ABC, and Yahoo Finance and has spoken at MoneyShow conferences for over 20 years. The Wagner Daily, his swing trading newsletter, has been published continuously since 2002.

His core philosophy of "Trade What You SEE, Not What You THINK" grew from 25+ years of watching skilled traders lose money not from bad analysis, but from overriding their own rules.
