Robert L. Anders

Robert L Anders was born in Delta, Colorado in 1947. He is a registered nurse and a retired lieutenant colonel in the United States Army having served 24 years as a Nurse Corp officer. He has received numerous military and civilian honors including being inducted as a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing and a Fellow in the National League of Nursing Academy of Nursing Education. He has numerous publications including a book co-author with Dr. James Hawkins Mosby’s Nursing Leadership and Management Online. In addition, Dr. Anders is a funded researcher and educator by a variety of Federal, State, and private agencies. He is an expert in minority health disparities and in educating socially and economic disadvantaged nurses. Dr. Anders has held a variety of academic and educational leadership positions. He lives in El Paso, Texas and enjoys spending summers in Pea Green, Colorado, his boyhood home.
