Sue Harris

Sue McMillan (Sue Harris) has worked in publishing for just over 20 years. She began her career as a researcher at Bookwatch, the company that supplied the Sunday Times bestseller lists. She then moved to Ladybird Books in Loughborough. Her favourite part of the job was being able to watch her books rolling off the presses - a rare treat for an editor because most books are printed abroad. Sue then moved to Templar Publishing, where she was Senior Editor for eight years, working on everything from simple board books to lavish picture books. Since going freelance in 2007, Sue has continued to work with many UK and International publishers both as a writer and editor. She has worked on a huge range of titles and loves the variety and freedom that freelancing brings.
