Edward T. Cotham

Ed Cotham is the prize-winning author of numerous books and articles on the history of Civil War Texas. Known as "Mr. Civil War Galveston" because of his many years as a popular lecturer and battlefield guide in that city, Ed has appeared frequently on television and the radio to share his passion for the history of the Lone Star State. In addition to his work on land, Ed is a Texas Marine Steward and has served as project historian for several Civil War shipwrecks in Texas waters. When not researching and writing, Ed serves as Chief Financial Officer for the Terry Foundation.
