David Chandler

David Chandler is Professor of International Relations, University of Westminster, London, UK. He edits the journal Anthropocenes - Human, Inhuman, Posthuman and convenes the Materialisms Reading Group. He has over 30 books (authored and edited) ranging from work on hope, political ontology, resilience and complexity and governing the Anthropocene to critiques of liberal and neoliberal paradigms of international intervention - humanitarianism, democracy and rights promotion, human security, peacebuilding and statebuilding.
