Ian Lewis

I put my first book together aged 9. It was a Christmas story bound in a tasteful cover made from wrapping-paper over card, and was written for and dedicated to my little sister. I've not been able to stop.

I've been lucky to have been paid for a lot - but far from all - of my writing. I’ve travelled the world making factual and documentary films, several of which have won awards. I’ve written and directed two feature films, and produced and directed a major drama-doc series. As well as books, I've written hundreds of factual video and television scripts. I wrote several scripts for the tv animation series “Mona the Vampire”, a project I discovered and developed. I write feature articles for print magazines and web sites.

I live in rural Herefordshire in England, and in Vienna, and love the contrast between the country and the European city.
