Meryl Robin Becker

Meryl Becker has been teaching ESOL to adults for over 30 years.

She presently teaches at SCALE in Somerville, Massachusetts, and is the author of "Samantha" and "Samantha:The Sequel." She developed the first chapter of

"Samantha" to give her students something interesting and fun to read while they learned some new vocabulary. But the students wanted more. Did Bradley leave Samantha? Did he stay with Gloria? So she wrote another chapter, and another,with input from the students, until it became the book you see today.
