Alberto A. Martinez

I'm a tenured professor at the University of Texas at Austin.

I'm originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and I write mostly about history of science. Most recently I've also analyzed the political news media. I've been a Research Fellow at The Smithsonian, M.I.T., Harvard, Boston University, and Caltech.

My newest books are Burned Alive: Giordano Bruno Galileo and the Inquisition (2018), and The Media versus the Apprentice: The Devil Mr. Trump (2019).
