Kathy Sheldon

I grew up on a farm in New England, so making things by hand comes naturally to me. I’m happiest when I’m creating, whether it’s a book, a row of sweet peas, or rehabbing an old house. Connecticut, New York City, Seattle, and Charleston, South Carolina, have all been home, but Asheville, North Carolina, seems to keep calling me back. When I’m not here making books, I’m usually at my cottage in Maine, where I’m the first to jump in the lake in the spring and the last one to leave the water in the fall.
