Stephanie Buckwalter

Stephanie Buckwalter is a child of God, wife, mother of five, researcher, author, and speaker. She founded Art of Special Needs Parenting to help parents navigate the sometimes scary, sometimes painful, sometimes amazing world of special needs. She helps parents adjust to their new normal by recognizing what is and is not within their control. Parents find her ability to locate resources specific to their needs a huge help in moving forward.

Stephanie is also the creator of the ELARP™ teaching method and related curriculum that gets special needs kids out of perpetual elementary school and on to real learning. She helps parents teach their kids life skills, with a focus on maximum independence, meaningful activity and social connection. She believes that developing these areas is like handing each child a passport to a richer, more fulfilling life.

As a member of the board of Capital Christian Writers Fellowship, she helps direct the organization that is helping Christian authors find their voice and use it to live out their calling.

Stephanie has also written books for the school library market, business encyclopedia articles (somebody has to write them) and been published in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. She enjoys getting out in God's creation, spending time with her family and organizing research.
