Becky Carr Imhauser

Becky Carr Imhauser is an author, educator, and public speaker. Her books include All Along Ohio Street and All Around Downtown, histories of downtown Sedalia, Mo., and Sedalia and Legendary Locals of Sedalia, part of Arcadia Publishing’s series. Becky also wrote “A Sedalia Christmas,” a musical that premiered at Sedalia’s historic Liberty Theatre in 2008 and was reprised in 2009 and 2013. A former magazine and newspaper editor, Becky has published more than 2,500 articles in national periodicals. She also produces curriculum for national and international publishers. Combining her experiencing in publishing and education, Becky frequently makes presentations to conferences and civic groups. She is a presenter for the Missouri History Speaker’s bureau, sponsored by the State Historical Society of Missouri. Becky is an adjunct college English instructor and publishing consultant. She holds a doctorate degree in Education.
