Tim Jordan, MD is a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician in private practice in St. Louis, Missouri, where he counsels girls from grade school through college on issues including friendships, anxiety, stress, finding purpose, school pressures, family relationships, and more. He also hosts a weekly podcast, Raising Daughters, is an international speaker who has spoken to parents and professionals in 17 countries, a YPO (Young Presidents Organization) resource/facilitator, and is a school and media consultant.
Dr. Jordan is also the founder/owner of Camp Weloki for Girls, running personal growth/leadership development weekend
retreats and summer camps since 1991. He also works with kids in school settings to create more caring learning communities in their Strong Girls, Strong World school programs. Dr. Jordan is also a key media resource speaking on TV, podcasts, & radio shows internationally. He is the author of 6 books, the latest being She Leads: A Practical Guide for Raising Girls Who Advocate, Influence, and Lead about raising female leaders. Dr. Jordan also published an online parenting course: Parenting Girls: The Challenges Girls Face Today With Their Feelings and Friends and What They Need.
Tim’s favorite “work” is when he is working directly with kids and teens in retreat-type settings at his camps and at schools.
His passion and interest in working with children started at an early age taking care of his 5 younger sisters. Dr. Jordan
resides with his wife, Anne, in St. Louis, Missouri. They are the proud parents of 3 adult children along with 4 grandchildren.
