Tim Kendall

Tim Kendall was born in Plymouth in 1970. In recent years, he has edited Poetry of the First World War (OUP), and (with Margaret Ferguson and Mary Jo Salter) The Norton Anthology of Poetry (6th edition). He was presenter of Ivor Gurney: The Poet Who Loved the War (BBC, 2014). His latest book is a foray into a subject that has preoccupied him since childhood: mammal-spotting. Black Ops and Beaver Bombing: Adventures with Britain's Wild Mammals is co-authored with his wife Fiona Mathews and published by Oneworld (2023).
