Eric Laster

A New Yorker by birth, Eric Laster lives in Los Angeles. His published work includes a stint as a "New York Times"-bestselling ghostwriter; his children's book debut, "The Adventures of Erasmus Twiddle" (Simon & Schuster); the middle-grade novel "Welfy Q. Deederhoth: Meat Purveyor, World Savior," and its sequel, "Welfy Q: Hairy Days" (Opsimath).

His other books include the paranormal coming-of-age novel "Static" (Automatic) and the memoir "The Magic Carpet: An Asian American Story" by Loretta Taam, as told to Eric Laster. He has also been published in numerous literary journals.

Whenever he's not scribing, Eric records punk rock and presses it to vinyl.
