Will Wyatt was a journalist, television producer, head of documentaries and MD Television at the BBC, a career he chronicled in The Fun Factory. His first book was The Man Who Was B.Traven ("thriller of the year" - Paul Theroux in Time Magazine), a real life detective story in search of the true identity of the mysterious author. After leaving the BBC, Will was chairman of the University of the Arts London and of the Teaching Awards Trust. He has had a lifelong love of horse racing and served on the boards of a bookmaker and as chair of Racing UK. He was born and brought up as a town boy in the university city of Oxford which he wrote about in Oxford Boy - A Post War Townie Childhood. He lives in west London with Jane, his wife of 56 years.
