Robert Duffy is Professor and Chair of the Political Science Department at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. He was born in Wayne, New Jersey, and received his B.A. from Lafayette College, his M.A. from the University of Delaware, and his Ph.D. from Brandeis University. His first book, "Nuclear Politics in America," received the Lynton Caldwell Award for best book in environmental politics and policy in 1999. His research has focused on a variety of environmental and energy issues, as well as the role of organized interests in federal elections. He is currently working on a book about U.S. energy policy.
