James Pierotti

James graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst with a Bachelor of Science. He also earned his MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School at Babson College, Wellesley MA with a concentration in finance.

His preservation work with the Massachusetts Historical Commission secured the listing for Bent's Cookie Factory, owned by his family for 65 years (1944-2009), on the National Register of Historic Places.

Hingham: Postcard History Series published By Arcadia Publishing in 2005 was his first historical book. He followed up with Norwell: Images of America also published by Arcadia Publishing in 2006.

James lives on the South Shore of Boston with his wife Brenda and his four sons, Nicholas, Anthony, Matthew and Owen.
