I am the national baseball writer for The Star-Ledger, a daily newspaper in Newark, New Jersey. I cover the Yankees, the Mets and various issues and events around Major League Baseball. Born and raised in New Jersey, I graduated from Georgetown University in 1994 and went to work in Florida, covering sports for The Palm Beach Post. After a few years on the Florida Marlins beat, I moved to New York to cover the Yankees for The Star-Ledger. There I met my wife, whom I married in 2002. We have two sons and now live in New Jersey.
