Charles Bensinger

Charles Bensinger is the author of 11 books of fiction and non-fiction. His publications explore the themes of videography, archeology, spirituality, and creative solutions to the climate crisis.

In the '80s, he co-founded a popular retreat center in New Mexico and later developed solar, wind and biofuel projects in the Southwest. As a college environmental sciences instructor, he introduced his students to innovative solutions to our energy challenges. As the Director of Alternative Energy sciences and the Biofuels Center of Excellence at the Santa Fe Community College in Santa Fe, NM, he designed and administrated a first-of-its-kind algae cultivation curriculum and advanced the use of bioenergy and biofuels in New Mexico.

Given the urgency of addressing the existential issue of climate chaos, Charles has written the "People of the Change" trilogy that explores radical and transformational solutions to our food, energy and water challenges. More recently, his latest novel, "DISRUPTIVE" provides a pathway to a new energy paradigm that would "change everything."
