Charles K. Kliment

Charles K. Kliment was born in 1932 in the former Czechoslovakia. Since the end of the Second World War, Mr. Kliment has researched the history of military armament. Over the years, he has amassed a large collection of wartime photographs, reports and data. He specializes in writing about armored vehicles of Czech design and manufacture, and their use before and during the Second World War.

In 1978 he co-authored the first history of Czechoslovak AFVs, followed later by In Action books on Pz.Kpfw.38(t) and Sd.Kfz.251.The comprehensive history of Czechoslovak AFVs 1918-1948 was published in 1997, followed shortly by the history of Armed Forces of the Slovak State 1939-1945. For MBI, Prague he co-authored books on Pz.Kpfw. 35(t), Pz.Kpfw. 38(t), Marder III and Grille and Jagdpanzer 38 Hetzer. He also translated the book on Wehrmacht Heer Camouflage 1939-1945, and on Skoda Heavy Guns.

Over the years he has published many articles in various historical and modelling magazines. He is currently working on several books about the Second World War.
