Dirk Wierenga

Dirk Wierenga is an author, publisher, documentary filmmaker and wanderer based in Michigan. He has been responsible for the publication of over two hundred books, is the author of Presbyterian's, A Spiritual Journey (Geneva Press, 2000) and was the director/filmmaker of two documentaries: the four part documentary, D.B. Cooper, The Real Story (Principia Media, 2018) and full length documentary Route 2 Elsewhere (Principia Media, 2021). His latest book, Route to Elsewhere: A Personal Journey (Principia Media, 2026) chronicles the stories of fifty amazing people who live along a 10,000 mile swatch of rural America.
