Tom Pritchard


Tom Pritchard is a published author with five books and eleven original screenplays to his credit. In an apparent attempt to commit financial suicide, he abandoned a successful New York advertising career to concentrate on his writing. When not behind the wheel of a NYC taxi, Tom was an active member of the Script Development Workshop … directed a couple of Off Off-Broadway flops … and wrote, wrote, wrote.

After his first screenplay was optioned, Tom moved to Los Angeles where he was represented by the William Morris Agency and by Film Artists Management. Five of his screenplays have been optioned, and his first book -- If Your Father Didn't Leave You a Fortune… Maybe a Horse Will! -- was the #1 best-selling regional title for four months. Its initial printing of 15,000 copies sold out through a single distributor in less than six months. SLIPPED AWAY is Tom’s first novel.
