Michael Keith Olson

Michael Olson has produced, written and photographed feature-length news for a variety of media, including the San Francisco Chronicle and Examiner, NBC, ABC, Australian Broadcast Commission, and KQED Public Television. His efforts helped win a National Emmy nomination for NBC Magazine with David Brinkley. Olson has won numerous awards as a broadcast personality and speaker.

Olson authored the Ben Franklin Book-of-the-Year MetroFarm; is producer and host of the syndicated Food Chain Radio show, named CA’s Ag/News Show of the Year by the California Legislature; and is producer and co-host of China Now Radio. Olson authored Tales From A Tin Can: an eye-witness history of World War II in the Pacific, which won a Starred Review from Publishers Weekly, and will soon be released as an audio book.

As an agriculture business specialist, Olson consults on agriculture projects from Watts to the Peruvian Amazon. With decades of media and business management, he is partner at Silicon Valley’s TimeShare Media and MO MultiMedia Group of Santa Cruz, CA.
