Doris C. Clark

Doris Clark lives in Grapevine, Texas, with her son, Tim, an adult with Down Syndrome. She has two daughters who live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and two grandchildren.

She is a member of White's Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake, Texas. She is the former coordinator of the Joy Class, a class for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Sherman, Texas. Another Joy Class was begun by Doris at First Presbyterian Church in Austin. She has been instrumental in beginning numerous classes in churches in Texas and in other states and is a consultant for several of those classes.

Doris served on the Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees for Evergreen Presbyterian Ministries as well the MHMR-Texoma Board. She is available for consultation and workshops. She continues to write curriculum for use in these classes.
