Michael Ledwidge

Michael Ledwidge sold his first novel, The Narrowback, at the age of 26.

His second critically acclaimed novel, Bad Connection, was optioned by George Clooney.

He has written over a dozen bestsellers with the world's best selling author, James Patterson. The Michael Bennett series that he co-created is the highest selling NYC detective series of all time. Their novel, Zoo, became a three-season CBS television series.

He recently resumed his solo career with the Michael Gannon series as well as stand-alone thrillers.

Born and raised in New York City, before becoming a full-time novelist, Ledwidge worked as a deli man, a Park Avenue doorman, and Manhattan telephone cable splicer.

He currently lives in Connecticut.

Inspired by his insights into storytelling from his thirty-year career as a novelist, Ledwidge has expanded his body of work to include a nonfiction exploration of how stories are inextricably connected to our human nature and how we can use this new understanding of stories to find our way to happily ever after.
