Jonathan Bell

Jonathan Bell writes about all aspects of contemporary design, focusing on transport, architecture, and technology. His key interests are the interaction between the public city and private transport, the integration of new technology and the ever-changing relationships between branding, design, culture and society. He is the author, co-author and editor of ten books, including The 21st Century House, The New Modern House: Redefining Functionalism, The Contemporary House and Todd Saunders: Architecture in Northern Landscapes. Jonathan currently works at Wallpaper* magazine, where he has been an editorial contributor for nearly two decades. He has also contributed to Conde Nast Traveller, Wired, and Esquire, amongst others. He lives in South London with his family.
