Its fun being a female and being a senior pastor at West Valley Presbyterian Church in Cupertino CA! When people ask me what I do and I tell them there is usually a brief pause and a momentary deer in the headlights stare, after which they collect themselves and say with a slow drawl, "Wow. That's great." Then we don't talk too much after that, unless they are super conservative and think women are still under the curse and shouldn't be pastors.

I am pretty into Jesus and so are my 3 kids who are all grown up now, but still pray and go to church and think God is not always understandable but always desirable. There is so much to write about when it comes to God! My husband is a clinical psychologist and has a private practice and he works out of a Presbyterian Church too (First Presbyterian Church in Burlingame CA). So I guess we all sort fit the God scene.

I am a Princeton Seminary graduate and a Boston University School of Theology Doctoral nerd. I think that is all except that I love to write and I love it when people read what I write and comment! So please do!
