Gregory A. Raymond

Gregory A. Raymond (Ph.D., University of South Carolina; BA Park College) is University Distinguished Professor Emeritus at Boise State University, where he held the Frank and Bethine Church Chair of Public Affairs and served as the director of the Honors College, chair of the Department of Political Science, and director of the Survey Research Center. A veteran of the U.S. Army and a former Pew Faculty Fellow in the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, Raymond is a past recipient of the Idaho Professor of the Year award by the Carnegie Foundation. The recipient of Boise State's outstanding researcher and outstanding teacher awards, Raymond has published widely in leading scholarly journals and has lectured on foreign policy and world politics at universities and research institutes throughout Asia, Europe, and North and South America. His work has been supported by travel and research grants from the United States Institute of Peace, the U.S. Department of State, the American Political Science Association, and many other organizations.
