Michael A. Chaney

Artist, writer, and scholar, Michael A. Chaney is Edward Hyde Cox Professor of English and American Literature at Dartmouth College, where he teaches literature with an emphasis on slavery, race identity, and visual culture. His academic essays may be found in such journals as American Literature, Callaloo, MELUS, and Modern Fiction Studies. He lives in Vermont.
