David Perry

Ahoy! I’m David Eugene Perry, author of Upon This Rock, a literary thriller set in the magical hilltop town of Orvieto, Italy. Born in Richmond, Virginia, I studied theatre and writing at SUNY Fredonia before launching a career as a journalist and publicist in Washington, DC and later San Francisco. My work has appeared in The Advocate, American Theatre, Omni, and SF Examiner, among others. In 1998, worked my way around the world by ship. Back on land, I met my husband, Alfredo. Together, we run a PR / Design firm and divide our time between Palm Springs and San Francisco. When not writing or traveling, I’m usually talking about ocean liners, history or planning the next book. Upon This Rock is now in its second printing, with a screenplay in development and a sequel underway.
