Erik Marcus

Erik Marcus publishes Vegan.com, and has written several books related to food politics and vegan lifestyles. He grew up in in the Northeast United States and currently spends most of his time in Europe and Asia.

He's written several influential essays (available on Vegan.com) including "Why Go Vegan?", "The Animal Rights Activism Guide," and "What Does Vegan Mean?" A graduate of UC Santa Cruz and Columbia University, he spends most of his time writing essays and reference materials of interest to the animal protection community.
