Meredith is a published author, prize-winning playwright, and award-winning historian whose creative work includes historic fiction and freelance work, contemporary and historical plays, scripts for musicals and operas, and the creation of documentaries and history productions commissioned by major museums. She is Managing Director of Run Rabbit Run Theatre company and Run Rabbit Run Productions, inc.
First creative memory? Writing a play for her third grade classmates to perform, casting herself in the lead, and getting up on stage and forgetting all her lines.
"Never again," McMath laughs. "But I have always loved seeing a story come to life. Whether by page, sound or stage, stories are always living, breathing - so clear in my mind. So, I know my resumé looks like a strange winding path, but it makes perfect sense to me. It's whatever a story needs. My love of a good story well told. My obsession."
