Gerald B. Keane

Jerry Keane is an AV-rated attorney in Sarasota, Florida (keaneandkeane.com). Before becoming an attorney, he worked as an aerospace engineer for Boeing and Pratt & Whitney on Minuteman III ICBMs, the Apollo moon program, and high-powered lasers. During his brief time at Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston, he was employed on the Astronaut Support Team and his desk plate said: "J. Keane, Astr."

His earlier books, Florida Law: A Layman's Guide and Florida Divorce Handbook were continuously in print for almost 30 years. He has chosen to write the Will Barrett Time Travel Series because of the many fascinating paradoxes, contradictions, and psychological aspects that time travel presents. Every time-travel book reveals unexpected and thought-provoking situations. SomeWhere SomeTime (featuring 1876 Dodge City) was the first in the series.

He has completed and published six sequels to SomeWhere SomeTime: JFK's Last Motorcade (which resolves the mysteries about the Kennedy Assassination), In the Year of Our Lord (which visits the passion and crucifixion of Jesus), Celebration (in which the future of the world is threatened by Chinese efforts to get time-travel technology), Now Doth Time Waste Me (about William Shakespeare), An Oracle Lost in Time (in which a DARPA scientist goes missing in the future), and Reaching for the Stars. In this, the seventh in the series, Will Barrett proposes a STRP mission to Mars.

Only in the Will Barrett series does a reader get to spend intimate time with Wyatt Earp, Bat Masterson, Lee Harvey Oswald, Jesus Christ, Zhang Wei (the Chinese dictator), and William Shakespeare, or get to visit the year 2030 or Mars.
