Eleanore Hill

Eleanore Hill is a prolific writer. Several novels based on her own experience are available, some more are in preparation. She also has one self-help books (for landladies and dog owners). Her first novel won the Rhodora Prize with a personal account of molestation at a time when the word was hardly spoken in public. Her life afterward has not been focused on that, however. Her writing style is forthright, personal, poignant, and occasionally pugnacious and funny. Finding herself in midlife is perhaps her most interesting material to draw on.
