Anne Leer

Anne Leer is an experienced strategist and creative business leader who has gained her experience working for some of the world’s biggest media brands. Her academic background is multidisciplinary (MA/MBA). She has worked in publishing, television and communications for more than 20 years and on the political arena as a high level adviser to governments on Economic, Cultural -, Media - and Internet policy issues. She is a digital technology enthusiast with expertise in multi-platform broadcasting and publishing, online media distribution including video streaming, on demand services, mobile apps and social media.

Anne Leer has extensive international experience gained from managing operations and working on programmes and news coverage around the world. She is currently a producer and broadcast journalist working for the BBC. She has served as a nominated Industry Expert for the OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development. Prior to her current positions, she was Commercial Director at the BBC and before that the Strategic Planner and business development manager for Oxford University Press, the world’s most international educational publisher with operations in 62 Countries.

She is a frequent public speaker at conference events and lectures at leading business schools. She contributes articles regularly to the newspaper press and trade journals; she has produced TV & Radio programmes, edited several reports and published her own books.
