Laurance Wieder

Poet and independent scholar Laurance Wieder moved from New York to Virginia with his wife Andrea Korotky in 2002. They now live in New York City.

An editor, essayist, anthologist and sometime teacher at Cornell, the Yale University School of Music, and the University of Virginia, he was also a Lincoln Center Institute staff artist. His work at Camera Arts Magazine won the National Magazine Award for General Excellence.
