Meredith Gould

I’m a sociologist, longtime spiritual seeker, mixed media artist, and award-winning author of nearly a dozen books and hundreds of magazine articles. I write about what I’ve studied, experienced, and still need to understand more deeply.

After stepping away from a long career in healthcare communications in 2016, I reclaimed several core identities—Jew, artist, and writer—and moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. These days, I work across visual art and writing, including my latest memoir, My Jewish Life and Other People’s Religions: The Catholic Years.

My work is driven by three goals: making complex ideas accessible, encouraging people to think differently about—well, everything—and offering practical ways to build community and deepen spiritual life. Bonus if readers laugh-snort at least once.
