Helen H Moore was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and emigrated with her parents to Queens, New York in 1953. She is intimately familiar with the world of her newest book, "Bolting the Furies," and has lovingly drawn upon that knowledge in creating the world of the book.
She has been a teacher, a poet, a journalist, a cartoonist, a speaker, an editor, and always, a storyteller. She is the author of more than 20 titles, most available on Amazon.com, and many for children and educators, including the bestselling "A Poem a Day," and others, for such publishers as Scholastic, Mondo, Concordia, Publications International, and Peter Pauper Press.
