Lorie Kleiner Eckert

Lorie Kleiner Eckert thinks of herself as a cheerleader with the message, life is difficult, but you can handle it! She has cheered people on through her work as a motivational speaker, as an award-winning columnist, a blogger, and as an artist who makes quilts with words and symbols pieced into the design. She also has five books in print. Her newest book is Chai on Life, published by Bancroft Press. Lorie’s M.O. in all these creative endeavors is to tell the stories of her life hoping others can glean life lessons from them. In Chai on Life (think of it as High on Life with a Jewish slant), thirty-six slice-of-life stories talk about everything from belly fat to Billy Joel. In these two stories alone, self-acceptance and forgiveness are discussed.
